In Garry's Mod, a contraption is simply any creation made by players using the game's tools or Addons from the Workshop. Whether it's a basic machine, a complex building, or a weapon made from props, if players put it together, it's a contraption. These creations are the bread and butter of the game's creative community, showcasing the community's builds, tinker, and experiments.

Weapons[]

Weapon contraptions can be guns, like machine guns, rifles, shotguns, and pistols, as well as melee items such as swords, batons, bats, and fists. These tools offer players different ways to engage in combat.
Hybrid contraptions combine offense and defense, providing versatility in combat situations. For instance, a mobile fortress armed with both defensive turrets and offensive weaponry allows players to choose one of the turrets depending on combat situations.
