History[]
The Source engine is a game engine developed by Valve Corporation (which will be shortened to Valve for simplicity) which debuted in November 16, 2004 alongside the release of Half-Life: Source, Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source. The Source Engine was later succeeded by Source 2.
Reception[]
The Source Engine has been critically acclaimed for its at the time for its "mind-blowing physics capabilities and graphics," which were majorly presented by Half-Life 2 and its episodes.
